Welcome 2021!

HAPPY New Year, dear readers and friends everywhere!

The new one must surely bode better for mankind and the world than our last. Let's help make it so, in any way we humbly can - being neighbourly (but careful), thinking of others as well as trying to savour the true treasures of life ourselves and, perhaps above all, being hopeful and positive. It's the healthiest way and that's not just our advice . . .

A book planned for this year is entitled The Bubbly Of Life (see end of our Books page). One of its uplifting and life enhancing items is some advice from Doctor Anthony Clare, of the 70s radio's In The Psychiatrist's Chair

One of his 'rules to live by', which will lift your spirits, applies very much to this pivotal time for us all.

Don't resist change, embrace it. Change is the salt in the soup of life. It adds to the flavour!

This light literary website is a non-profit-making one offering free reading as well as books published on Kindle and in paperbacks sponsored by the Arts Council. The pages for you are updated regularly and with a view to changing times and situations. The venture was begun more than a decade ago, by journalists and others, to help offset all that bad news.

Now there are readers throughout the world, from South America to South Korea and New York to New Zealand, with many in between. We hope you enjoy it and also embrace change and all of  life in this hopeful new year.

Best wishes to you all!
